  • Ten Women’s Teams and Ten Men’s Team from across the USA.
  • Teams will have playdowns to qualify during Nov & Dec 2017.
  • Teams to be announced in January 2018.
  • The men’s and women’s Junior National champions will represent the United States at the World Junior Championship in Aberdeen, Scotland, from March 3-11, 2018.

HISTORY

  • The first Junior Men’s Championship was held in 1974.
  • The first Junior Women’s Championship was held in 1987.
  • 2017 Junior Men’s Champions: Chicago, IL: Andrew Stopera, Luc Violette, Ben Richardson and Graem Fenson.
  • 2017 Junior Women’s Champions: Blaine, MN: Annmarie Dubbenstein, Christine McMakin, Jenna Burchesky and Allison Howell.

About the Club ...

The Detroit Curling Club is a dedicated curling facility with four sheets of ice and a spacious lounge and viewing area. We're in Ferndale, Michigan, close to Downtown Detroit and centrally located between major freeways (I-75 and I-696). We are the only curling club in the Detroit metropolitan area and have an active membership who joins for one primary purpose - to enjoy the grand old game of curling!
